Ensuring Smooth Access Control with Shotgun Scan
Welcome to Shotgun Scan, your companion for seamless access control at your events. Follow this guide to set up and navigate through the app:
Getting Started with Shotgun Scan:
- Use your Smartboard credentials to log in, or set up Shotgun Scan-only login details under ‘Scan & Drawer’ in Smartboard settings.
- Set a username, password, and an additional PIN code for enhanced security.
Downloading and Logging in:
- Download Shotgun Scan, open the app, and log in using the credentials set up earlier.
- Name your scanner (Tip: Use the device name on lock screen).
Navigating Shotgun Scan:
- Find your upcoming events on the main page and select the event you want to manage.
- Under settings, customize scan options like displaying ticket descriptions and resetting scan count.
- Go to the scan tab, scan tickets, and review your scan history.
- Use the search page to find attendees with email, name, or order number.
Managing Tickets and Guestlists:
- Click on ‘Tickets’ to manage tickets, and ‘Guestlists’ to view, manage, and add to guestlists.
- Validate guest entrances and add new guests as needed.
- Under 'Scanners', find all other connected scans.
- Manage and create new entrances under ‘Zoning’.
Help and Switching Events:
- For a detailed tutorial, check the user guide manual under ‘Settings’.
- To manage another event, click on ‘Switch event’ to return to the main page.
