The pre-sale is a distinct additional step in the event creation where you can first publish your events without tickets, so that users can show interest and you can generate some expectation for your event, enabling you to launch the general sales afterwards. 🎟️
How can I set the pre-sale? 👀
When an event is in draft, you (as organizer) can decide to publish either in pre-sale or on sale.
You can decide to schedule this event pre-sale publication for later, just need to click on the "Schedule" button:
And then just schedule at the most convinient time for you. The time of the pre-sale will be displayed before the confirmation:
It's also possible to set the visibility for the event and decide if you want to send notification to your subscribed contacts or not:
It's important to keep in mind that we only allow organizers to send one notification campaign for every 12hrs to avoid spammnig users. But if you already sent a publication notification in the previously, and decide to skip the notification, there's no problem at all, it will be explained:
Event countdown ⏰
When scheduling a switch from pre-sale to on sale, you can decide if you want to display a countdown on the event page during pre-sale. Once the event is on pre-sale you can also schedule it's publication:
Check the box for enabling the countdown on the event page, and save:
Once you have done, the countdown will be avaiable at the event page:
And user will be able to click on the "Remind-me" button to get notified when a few moments before the sales opening. They can also click on the "Interested" button, and by doing this other users that are connected on their account will be able to check who is going to event, cool right? 🤩
How to sell tickets while the event is on pre-sale? 🎫
If you want to sell exclusive tickets, or just enable them for an specific groups of contacts/buyers before the general sales opening, it's possible. 🦾
You just have to create the ticket with the Sales period as "Now", and them set their visibility restriction as "HIDDEN":
And once you have set them you can copy the private link share them with a whenever you want to sell:
