To send an email to all the event participants, you need to create a new Practical Email campaign.
Shotgun allows you to create two types of email campaigns:
-
Promotional Emails: Those emails will only be sent to contacts who have accepted to receive marketing emails from you. You will be able to send those emails to your entire Shotgun community or to specific segments of your community.
You should use this type of email when you want for example to promote the launch of a new event or share some news with your community. How to send a Promotional Email
-
Practical Emails: Those emails will be sent to all the participants of a specific event (even those who didn't accept receiving emails from you).
You should only use this type of email when you want to share practical information to your event participants (for example instructions to access the event, canceling or postponing an event, schedules, etc.)
