On Shotgun, to find your contacts, visit the section Marketing > Contacts.
A contact is added to your community in any of the following situations:
- 🎟 A user bought a ticket to one of your events
- 🎟 A user received an invite to one of your events
- 🎟 A user was part of a group ticket bought for one of your events.
- ❤️ A user followed your organizer page on Shotgun (whether or not they subscribed to your newsletter)
- 📂 You imported that contact manually (using a CSV import)
A contact is defined by their email address, even if they don’t have a Shotgun account associated.
As an organizer, you can:
- 🔬 Filter your contacts thanks to different attributes: age, geographic area, amount spent, etc.
- 👨👩👧👧 Create segments of contacts sharing similar attributes (learn more)
- ⬇️ Import new contacts via CSV import (learn more)
- ⬆️ Export the list of your contacts and their attributes
Contact attributes
Every contact has attributes you can view from the contacts listing and use to segment your community.
Here is the list of all the available contact attributes:
- Age: Birthdate asked on first purchase
- Gender: Male, Female, or Other
- Area: Geographical zones (slightly bigger than cities)
- Last purchase date: Date of the last purchase made on one of your events
- Total spent: Total amount spent by the contact
- Total events: Total events for which the contact bought a ticket

Follows me?: Does the contact follow me on my organizer page?

Subscribed to newsletter?: Is this contact subscribed to your newsletter? i.e: will they receive the marketing emails you're sending out?

Subscribed to push?: Is this contact subscribed to receive push notifications about your events from the Shotgun app?

- Country: Country of the contact (if known)
- Language: Defined by the user's preferred language on the Shotgun app or their computer
- Phone number: Phone number asked to users during their first purchase
- Added at: When was this contact added to your community? (date of first ticket purchase, date at which they followed your page, date of the CSV import)

By clicking on a contact, a contact panel will enable to see the history of all tickets purchased by this contact.
