Changing your legal entity cannot be done directly from your account.

Our support team will update these details for you once you provide the required information.

☝️You indicated your legal structure during the Stripe verification process when you signed up.

Change your legal entity

Step 1: Contact our support team.

Step 2: Provide the following documents & information:

• Written agreement and ID of the current legal representative
• Specify if you are changing the type of organization (company, association, or individual)
• Updated business registration document → Find here all accepted documents

💡 The document must be a PDF and come directly from the original source. It must be clear, valid, and match the information entered earlier. Screenshots, scans, or blurry copies are not accepted.

• New entity information:
  • Legal business name
  • Business name (if different from Legal business name)
  • Company identification number (EIN Number for 🇺🇸)
  • Address, phone number, and website

Step 3: Once received, our teams will update this information on Stripe, your Shotgun account, and your accounting documents.
