If you need to send your events or tickets to an external tool that is not directly integrated with Shotgun, you may be asked to provide your Organizer ID and an API token.
These two elements allow external platforms to securely connect to your Shotgun data.

How to find your Organizer ID and API token
Before getting started, make sure you are logged into your Shotgun organizer account.
Step 1: Access your API settings
From your Smartboard:
Click Settings > Integrations > Shotgun APIs
This section centralizes everything related to API access.
Step 2: Find your Organizer ID
In the Shotgun APIs section, you will see your Organizer ID displayed. You can copy it directly from this page.
Step 3: Generate your API token
To allow an external tool to access your data, you’ll need to create an API token.
Click Generate a token.
Your API token will then be created and displayed.
