Once connected, you can:
- Create bundles that combine tickets and merch
- Sell standalone merch directly on Shotgun
This guide walks you through how to find your Shopify Store ID and API token, then connect them to Shotgun in a few simple steps.

Get your Shopify Store ID
You can find your Shopify Store ID in two ways:
Option 1 — From your account URL
Simply connect to your Shopify account and copy the code that appears in the URL right after “store/”.
Option 2 — From your store settings
Go to Settings in your Shopify admin panel, and you’ll get your store ID there.
💡 Copy and paste it somewhere safe. You’ll need it to connect your Shopify Store to Shotgun.
Get your Shopify Client ID & Client Secret
Through API, you allow Shotgun to communicate securely with your Shopify account. To generate it, you’ll need to create a custom app in Shopify. Don’t worry, it’s super easy.
Step 1: Create your app
- Go to your Shopify settings.
- Select Apps > Develop apps.
- Click Develop apps.
- Click Build apps in Dev Dashboard.
- Confirm your email address.
Step 2: Configure your app from the Dev Dashboard
- From Shopify Dev Dashboard, click Create App.
- Choose Start from Dev Dashboard, name it (e.g. “Shotgun Integration”), then click Create.

In Access, grant the required scopes:
read_products,read_product_listings,read_orders,read_draft_orders, write_draft_orders,read_legal_policies,read_locations,read_shippingđź’ˇ These permissions allow Shotgun to read your product catalog and shipping methods, create and track orders, and display your store policies.
- ⚠️ Do not tick Use legacy install flow.
- In Redirect URLs, paste:
https://smartboard.shotgun.live/settings/integrations - Click Release and name the version
v01.
Step 3: Reveal your Client ID & Secret
From the Shopify Dev Dashboard > Settings, copy your Client ID and Client Secret, then paste them into the Smartboard.
Click Add store, then validate the installation from your Shopify admin.
Check your Shopify configuration requirements
Before connecting Shopify to Shotgun, make sure a few key settings are properly configured.
Shipping methods
Go to Shopify Settings > Shipping and delivery.
⚠️ Pickup-point deliveries (e.g. Mondial Relay, Relai Colis) aren’t supported yet.
Return policies
Go to Shopify Settings > Policies and define your Return and refund policy.
Contact email
Go to Shopify Settings > Notifications and check the email used for customer communications.
Connect your Shopify account to Shotgun
- Log in to your Smartboard.
- Go to Settings > Integrations.
- In the Shopify section, click Get info > Add store.
- Enter your
Shopify Store ID, yourClient ID&Client Secret, then click Connect.
Your Shopify store is now connected to your Shotgun account 🎉
