You can import contacts directly into your Smartboard using a CSV file. This allows you to centralize your audience. To do so:
Go to Marketing > Contacts
Click Import contacts
Upload your CSV file
Match each column with the corresponding field. Your CSV file can include the following columns:
Contact email address (mandatory)
Phone
First name
Last name
Newsletter subscription (mandatory)
Add a column called subscribed
Write yes for subscribed contacts
If the column is missing, all contacts will be imported as unsubscribed

⏱️ Depending on the number of contacts, the import may take several minutes. You can continue working while it runs in the background.
💡 Re-importing existing contacts with different information updates their profile (first name and last name), but keeps their existing email preference (Newsletter: Yes or No).
Import contacts limit
Shotgun limits the number of contacts that can be imported as subscribed to protect global deliverability and ensure GDPR compliance, with a maximum of 2,000 subscribed contacts. Unsubscribed contacts do not count toward this limit.
