This article aims to help you correctly set up your Smartboard ticketing structure.
This advice would particularly be beneficial to you:
- If you're organizing special events such as multi-day festivals
- If you're selling different types of tickets, such as accommodation or transportation
In those cases, we recommend you create one ticket category for each ticket you sell.
Example of ticket type:
- Tickets for a specific day
- Tickets for a combination of days
- Tickets for special tickets such as accommodation or transportation
If you don't do so, once your event is sold out, users joining the event waiting list will have a high chance of buying the wrong ticket.
Multi-day events
In case of multi-day events, you should create one category per day:
- One category for "Friday tickets"
- One category for "Saturday tickets"
Multi-day pass tickets
If you're selling multi-day pass tickets, you should create one category per pass combination:
- One category for "Friday + Saturday + Sunday"
- One category for "Friday + Saturday"
- One category for "Saturday + Sunday"
- One category for "Friday + Sunday"
Special tickets
If you're selling special tickets such as accommodation or transportation tickets, you should create one category per ticket type:
- One category for "Camping"
- One category for "Bus from Amsterdam"
- One category for "Bus from Paris"
