Promo codes are a simple and powerful way to reward your fans or drive more ticket sales with exclusive discounts. You can create them directly from your Smartboard, customize the type of discount, and track how well they perform, all in real time.

Create a promo code

From your Smartboard, go to:
Marketing > Promo Codes
or Event > Promote > Promo Codes
Click Add a new Promo Code

Fill in the following details:
Name
Event scope: Apply to a specific event or all events

Discount type:
Flat amount (e.g., €10 off)
Percentage (e.g., 20% off)
Quantity: Max number of tickets that can be sold using the code

(Optional) Click Advanced options to:
Limit the promo to specific ticket types (e.g., Early Bird, VIP)
Restrict the number of uses per customer
Once created, you can share the promo code!

What fans see
Fans can use the promo code during checkout whether they’re buying on the web or the app, the promo code field appears in the Cart once tickets are selected.
Manage promo codes
There are two easy ways to reach your promo code settings:
From the main menu: Go to Marketing > Promo codes, then select your event.
Or directly from the event dashboard: Click Promote > Promo codes.
Edit a promo code
Need to adjust a discount or update the quantity? Simply click on the promo code to:
Change its name, type (amount or percentage), or value
Update the maximum quantity available
Restrict usage by date or ticket type
đź’ˇ To stop a promo code, set its maximum quantity to match the number of tickets already sold with it. This will immediately prevent further use.
Delete a promo code
To remove a promo code, click on it, then hit Delete.
⚠️ You can only delete promo codes that haven’t been used yet. If any tickets have been sold with the code, it stays in your list for tracking purposes.
Monitor promo code performance
Every promo code includes detailed stats to help you understand its impact:
Number of uses: How many times the code has been applied
Revenue generated: The total ticket sales from this code
Total ost: The total cost
