If you see new orders in the Orders tab but your ticket gauge does not increase, this is expected behavior.
In most cases, these orders are linked to resales or transfers. They create a new order line, but they do not count as a new ticket sale.
This means your number of orders can increase while your ticket gauge remains the same.

Understand how resales and transfers appear in the Orders tab
When a ticket is resold or transferred, the original order becomes invalid.
You can identify these orders in the Orders tab with a Resold or Transferred tag.
Here’s what happens in practice:
- A new order line is created in the Orders tab.
- A new QR code is generated for the new ticket holder.
- The original ticket still exists, but is no longer valid.
- During scanning, the original ticket will be marked as invalid.
- The ticket gauge does not increase, because no additional ticket has been sold.
This is why the number of orders can increase while the ticket gauge remains unchanged.
Check your ticket gauge and sales evolution
There are two places where you can check your event performance: the Event overview and the ticket listings.
Before continuing, let’s look at what each one shows.
1. Tickets sold on the Event overview
The Event overview is the recommended place to track your event’s sales performance.
It shows:
- Tickets sold
- Revenue generated
- Sales evolution over time
Resold tickets are excluded from this view because they are not considered new sales.
đź’ˇ Because resold tickets are excluded, the number displayed in the Event overview can be lower than the number of new orders you see in the Orders tab.

2. Ticket gauge on ticket listings
The ticket gauge shows how many tickets have been sold from the original ticket allocation. It only increases when a ticket is sold for the first time.
It does not increase when a ticket is:
- Resold
- Transferred
This helps you track the real capacity used for each ticket type, without counting the same ticket twice.
