Want to build stronger connections with your fans? Looking for a faster, more impactful way to promote your events or even create hype before the announcement? With Shotgun, you can now send SMS campaigns directly from your Smartboard.
⚠️ The SMS feature is only available to US organizers at the moment with a maximum number of campaigns limited to 3 per 30 days (running time window).
Create a SMS campaign
⚠️ Campaigns can only be sent between 11 AM and 9 PM EST (UTC -5).
- On your Smartboard, visit Marketings > Campaigns
- Click on Send an SMS
3. Write your SMS and click on Send SMS
⚠️ Audience:
Only US phone numbers (+1) are eligible.
Phone numbers with a Texas area code are excluded, to comply with Senate Bill 140 (effective Sept 1, 2025).
SMS campaigns can only be sent to all your contacts (segmentation not yet available).
Track your performance
After sending your campaign, head to Marketing > Campaigns > SMS to monitor results:
- How many SMS have been delivered and clicked
- How many tickets have been sold
- How much revenue the campaign generated
đź’ˇ Recipients can unsubscribe by replying STOP to any SMS and resubscribe anytime by replying START.
MMS
Shotgun SMS also supports MMS (messages with images). Get in touch with our team if you’d like to enable this feature.
